GLASS ART PLAYTIME

Glass Art Play Time

Come in to exercise your inner artist. No experience needed. All the bits and pieces are here to pick from to create your own glass art project. You build your creation from our collection of supplies and we’ll fire it in the kiln to produce the finished art project for you to pick up later. Come on your own or bring friends for a group outing.

$40 per person per project – includes all materials, tool use and kiln firing.

Some project ideas you can try.

Wind Chimes	Make the components for a wind chime to take home to assemble into a finished glass art wind chime.

Gone Fishing	Build a trio of glass fish suncatchers to hang in your window or include in a wind chime project.

Glass Garden	Create a glass garden to be fused and bent into a decorative sconce.

Christmas Ornaments	Create a dozen glass art ornaments for Christmas decoration.

Fossil Vitrae	Apply coloured glass powder or mica onto plant material to be fused onto glass to be made into a tray or bowl

Pebble Play	Create a special design bowl or tray from our big collection of different size and different shape glass art pebbles.

Float Fun	Float glass is window glass. Learn how to make glass art from free glass. You’ll made a small bowl from scrap window glass and another from bits of tempered glass. That’s the chips from a busted up shower door or patio door.

Embossed Glass	Build a mold from plaster and silica material and melt glass over it to create a textured glass panel.

Fused tray or bowl	Make a 12” x 12” tray or bowl.
